The Top Doctors Award is dedicated to selecting and honoring those healthcare practitioners who have delivered the highest standards of patient care. It’s an achievement that only 5% of San Diego County physicians can claim. Congratulations to our urologist, Dr. Carol Salem, and radiation oncologists, Drs. For nearly twenty years, the San Diego County Medical Society has recognized physicians who are held in the highest regard by their peers. San Diego Magazine works collaboratively with the San Diego County Medical Society to manage the annual ‘Top Docs’ survey. Voting is open to all physicians in San Diego County and participating physicians are asked to vote for their colleagues within and outside their own specialty. Through this process, 747 physicians in 98 specialties were selected this year.
