Danny L. Keiller, MD, FACS

LOCATIONS:

Dr. Keiller graduated with honors from the University of Arizona, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his medical degree with honors from Baylor College of Medicine and received the Frank Coleman Hamm Award for Excellence in Urology. He completed post-graduate training as a resident in surgery and urology at the University of California, San Diego. He was chief resident in urological surgery during the 1972-73 academic year. Dr. Keiller served as an Honorary Clinical Fellow in urology at the Middlesex Hospital and Medical School, London, England.

Dr. Keiller has an extensive background in academic urology, having served as an Instructor, Assistant Clinical Professor, and Voluntary Associate Clinical Professor in Surgery/Urology at the University of California, San Diego, and as an Instructor in urology at Tulane University. In addition, Dr. Keiller holds a Master’s degree in business administration from San Diego State University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Keiller is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He served as chief of urology at the Air Force Regional Medical Center, Keesler AFB, Biloxi, MS from 1973-75.

Dr. Keiller is active in many professional organizations. He is a past president of the San Diego Urological Society and past president of the San Diego Society for Sex Therapy and Education. He is a founding board member of the California Urological Association. He has numerous presentations and publications to his credit and he continues to be active in innovative urologic research. Dr. Keiller’s interests involve male health, urologic cancers, sexual function, and office urology. His wife, Dr. Barbara Keiller, is a marriage and family therapist and Masters and Johnson trained sex therapist.
