Edward Cohen, MD

LOCATIONS:

Dr. Cohen was born and raised in Los Angeles, earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA with Magna Cum Laude honors, and initiation into Phi Beta Kappa. He attended University of California, Davis School of Medicine. After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Cohen completed his surgical internship and urologic residency at University of San Diego Medical Center, San Diego, California. He has been in practice with Coast Urology Medical Group, located in La Jolla and Encinitas, California, since 1990.

Dr. Cohen has served as Chief of Urology at Scripps La Jolla and Scripps Encinitas Hospitals and has served as Chief of Staff of Scripps Encinitas. He is currently CEO of Genesis Healthcare Partners, a multispeciality LUGPA in San Diego with 30 providers. He is married with 2 sons and 2 step-sons and enjoys spending his free time with his family, his daily workouts, skiing and golf.
