Tahir Ijaz, MD, FRCP, FACRO

Tahir Ijaz, M.D., F.R.C.P., F.A.C.R.O. earned his medical degree and completed his internship at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. He served his Radiation Oncology residency at the University of Manitoba / Manitoba Cancer Foundation. His fellowship in Radiation Oncology was accomplished at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, and was followed by a faculty position as Clinical Instructor on the Head and Neck Oncology service. Dr. Ijaz is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and joined Radiation Medical Group in 2000.

Specific areas of interest and expertise include treatment of Head & Neck, Prostate and Lung Cancers. He is trained in the use of CyberKnife® stereotactic body therapy and intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT).
