
Damon E. Smith, MD, FACRO
Radiation Oncologist
Damon E. Smith, M.D., F.A.C.R.O. received his medical degree from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his internship at the Wadsworth VA (UCLA) and residency in Radiation Oncology at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. Dr. Smith is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology.
Dr. Smith has been associated with Radiation Medical Group since 1995, having served on the faculty at UCSD School of Medicine from 1994 to 1995. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor with the University of California, San Diego. He has an interest and special training in treatment of tumors of the Central Nervous System and in optimization of treatment by more accurate delivery of radiation. He is an active member of the American Society of Therapeutic and Radiation Oncologists, the American College of Radiation Oncology, and the International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society.
